Johnson will lead financial operations to support the firm’s continued growth

PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, has named Paula Johnson as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Johnson has vast experience in financial management and strategic planning and will play a vital part in the firm’s continued growth.

As CFO, Johnson will lead financial operations. Her role includes budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and risk management for PGAV Destinations, PGAV Planners, and PGAV Architects.

Supporting PGAV’s creative vision

Johnson was formerly CFO at Cenergistic in Dallas, Texas. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and received her MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mike Konzen, CEO of PGAV Destinations, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Paula to PGAV. As we continue to expand and evolve, having a leader like Paula is essential. She has a strategic mindset and a proven track record. She aligns well with our goals and will ensure our financial strategies are ideally positioned to support our growing studios.”

Johnson comments: “I look forward to diving into the day-to-day back-office operations of PGAV. By optimizing processes and procedures, we can elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting team. These insights will equip our executive team with the foresight needed to make impactful strategic decisions.

“As I step into my role, I am inspired by the remarkable growth witnessed in recent years. I am eager to contribute my financial expertise to propel PGAV’s journey further, ensuring that our financial strategies align seamlessly with the creative vision driving our success.”

Last month, PGAV announced the appointment of a talented group of new team members at its design studios in St. Louis and Orlando. The firm is committed to promoting innovation in project planning and design, positioning it as a leader in the sector. The expansion will further the firm’s collaborative efforts in creating exceptional destinations in the travel, tourism, and entertainment sectors, both locally and worldwide.
