Twentieth Century Fox and Genting Malaysia release details of the first Twentieth Century Fox theme park.
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products in partnership with Genting Malaysia have announced initial details of the first ever Twentieth Century Fox theme park.
Set to open in Malaysia in 2016, TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX WORLD will occupy a 25 acre site at Resorts World Genting. The $300 million new theme park is to feature over 25 media based rides and attractions including thrill rides, dark rides, children’s rides and water rides.
The park is a first for Twentieth Century Fox, in a bid to leverage the popularity of IP from movies like Ice Age, Rio, Night at the Museum and Planet of the Apes in a theme park setting.

TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX WORLD represents one part of the first phase of the RM5 billion Genting Integrated Tourism Plan (GITP); an ambitious 10 year master plan for the development of Resorts World Genting which currently attracts 20 million visitors a year.
