Pokémon is coming to the Science Museum in London for a new space-themed experience created in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).
Opening on 2 October, the Pokémon Space Trail spans several galleries and pairs Pokémon with real stories of European space science.
"Visitors can set off on an adventure of discovery with our new free trail at the Science Museum, which brings beloved Pokémon into the museum’s galleries to reveal connections between the worlds of Pokémon and science," said Libby Jackson, head of space at the Science Museum.
The experience features large-scale installations starring beloved Pokémon, with stops on the trail themed after Pikachu, Lunatone, Arceus and more.
In the museum’s Space gallery, the trail explores how NASA and ESA are returning to the moon with the Artemis programme, also highlighting the moon’s impact in the Pokémon universe.
After completing the trail, fans can enjoy a dedicated Pokémon gift shop on the museum's mezzanine level for a selection of Pokémon and ESA merchandise, including a limited number of astronaut Pikachu plush toys.
Guests will need to book a free timed ticket for the shop in advance and purchase limits will apply for some products, including the astronaut Pikachu plush.
The gift shop will also provide a wider selection of Pokémon merchandise, including clothing, stationery, and selected Pokémon Trading Card Game products from the Scarlet & Violet series.

"Every Pokémon journey begins with a sense of wonder about what lies beyond the world you know," said Mathieu Galante, senior director of licensing at the Pokémon Company International.
"From distant regions to encounters that reach into outer space, that spirit of discovery has always been part of being a Pokémon Trainer."
The free Pokémon Space Trail is taking place from 2 October until 3 January 2027.
Elsewhere, hotelier Not A Hotel has teamed up with the Pokémon Company to create a giant Poké Ball guesthouse in Hokkaido, Japan.
