Asset World Corporation (AWC) and Universal Destinations & Experiences are collaborating on Thailand's first DreamWorks Animation-themed hotel.
The new hotel, located at the Aquatique Pattaya mixed-use development, will bring DreamWorks' stories and characters to life.
Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2033, the 300-room hotel will include a DreamWorks-themed indoor and outdoor water park covering 16,000 square metres.
"DreamWorks Animation stories and characters are beloved by families around the world," said Gerald Raines, senior vice president of global LBE at Universal Destinations & Experiences.

"Through our ongoing collaboration with AWC, we’re exploring new ways to bring them to life, from the energy and adventure of a themed water park to a hotel where the storytelling extends throughout the stay."

Universal has significantly expanded its DreamWorks LBE offering in recent years, most notably with the opening of the new Universal Kids Resort this summer.
The resort brings together a range of iconic DreamWorks brands, including Shrek, Trolls and Gabby's Dollhouse.
Elsewhere, the new DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida is a colourful world inspired by Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda.
