Ripley Entertainment has paid $23million for a property on Universal Blvd.reports the Orlando Sentinel.
The 23.2 acre plot is in the primetourist area along Universal Boulevard north the intersection with Convention Way, near the Orange County Convention Center.
The property has beenmarketed as an ideal site for a new convention hotel and is close toa 475acre plot bought last year by an affiliate of Universal Orlando Resort. A pedestrian overpass of Universal Boulevard is planned nearby.
