Themed Entertainment Association SATE North America 2023

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, will host the Storytelling, Architecture, Technology, and Experience (SATE) conference for North America in Kansas City, Missouri, from 12 – 14 October 2023. The agenda will explore the theme “Origins and Influencers: The people, places and ideas that shape our industry”.

Registration for the event is now open, with an early bird discount available until 29 August 2023.

“We are delighted to present a revolutionary event that will bring together leading-edge professionals to discuss storytelling, architecture, technology, and experiences,” says the organisation. “This event will provide participants with ample opportunity to gain precious new insight into the rapidly evolving fields of themed entertainment.”

Learning, networking and more

Attendees at TEA SATE North America 2023 can participate in a range of interactive and educational sessions. They will also have the chance to enjoy ample networking opportunities and social events.

Alongside the insightful educational sessions and discussions, highlights of the schedule include a Hard Hat Laugh O Gram Studio Tour, an Opening Reception at Union Station, a Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos NFL game and an evening event at Worlds of Fun.

“No matter your role in the themed entertainment industry, you will find something to suit your needs at this historic event,” says the TEA. To register for SATE North America 2023, please click here.

This event follows the successful TEA SATE Europe 2023 which took place earlier this year at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany.

Last month, the TEA also announced the release of its latest global attractions attendance report. Now in its 17th annual edition, the TEA/AECOM Theme Index and Museum Index provides information on the world’s most-visited theme parkswater parks and museums. It studies the attractions sector by region – the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
