The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, is hosting TEA INSPIRE 2023 on 13 and 14 April at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
On Thursday 13 April at 4.50 pm PT, attendees can enjoy the State of the Industry panel discussion, and the association has now revealed this year’s speakers. The session will be moderated by Al Cross, vice president of PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations.
Hear from industry insiders
A panel of industry experts will join Cross for a deep dive into some of the influences and trends that have the potential to change the way that themed entertainment professionals think about their work and their priorities.
The panellists are Winston Fisher, CEO of AREA15; Michael Mack, CEO of Europa-Park; Dan Memis, senior vice president and CFO of Universal Creative; Evi Sari, VP of location-based entertainment at WildBrain CPLG; Darcy Troy Pollack, VP of immersive experience & content partnerships at MGM Resorts International and Jakob Wahl, president and CEO of IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry.
In addition, the TEA has partnered with the Big Break Foundation to offer scholarships for emerging professionals this year. Scholarship recipients will receive access and financial support to attend TEA INSPIRE and the 2023 Thea Awards Gala. Plus, more programming will be offered in the run-up to, during, and after the event, to support successful candidates in their professional development.
This year, the TEA will also host the first-ever INSPIRE Leadership Forum as part of this year’s TEA INSPIRE event. This has been designed to provide a space for debate, information sharing and thought leadership that transcends the competitive environment, focusing on big ideas that will advance attendees’ businesses and the sector as a whole.
The Thea Awards Gala at Disneyland Resort will follow TEA INSPIRE 2023, on Saturday 15 April.
