Themed Entertainment Association SATE 2024 registration opens

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, has opened registration for the SATE 2024 Europe & Middle East Division event.

At this event, Storytelling, Architecture, and Technology will come together in the creation of compelling Experiences (SATE). TEA SATE Europe 2024 is taking place from 14 to 17 May at Gardaland Resort, Italy, and will be exploring the theme: “Back to the Future?”

Attendees can now register for the event by clicking here, where they will also be able to find details on discounted hotel rates. These negotiated rates are open until Sunday 5 May, or until the room block is fully booked.

Call for papers

SATE Europe is being held at Gardaland Theme Park, on the shore of Lake Garda, and will take delegates on a journey through the past, present and future of themed entertainment and experiences. The event will offer the opportunity to explore the park, along with two days of conferences and networking dinners. A themed dinner is planned for 15 May.

In addition to opening registration for the event, submissions are also being sought in the event’s call for papers.

TEA is seeking speakers for SATE Europe 2024 who will discuss current trends and the challenges they can solve, and also examine why trends come and go so swiftly, and frequently fail to reach their potential. The event will also look at the traditional craft of experience development and narrative, including what keeps visitors coming back to a good attraction.

A diverse team of content curators will assess proposals based on how they explore the topic of “Back to the Future?” using the SATE concept of storytelling, architecture, and technology equals experience.

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) recently shared further details of sessions at the upcoming TEA INSPIRE conference, which is taking place 14 – 15 March 2024, in Hollywood, US.
