‘Dreaming of Fantasy Springs’ kicks off on 9 April

Ahead of the launch of the Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea, the park is hosting the ‘Dreaming of Fantasy Springs’ special event from 9 April through 30 June.

Like Fantasy Springs, the event at Tokyo DisneySea will feature characters and experiences themed to FrozenTangled and Peter Pan, as well as special merchandise and menu items.

Every day, there will be a Fantasy Springs-themed show on the Mediterranean Harbor with characters including Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Anna, Peter Pan, Wendy, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Donald Duck and Goofy.

Areas near the park’s entrance and Mediterranean Harbor will be decorated with themed banners and displays counting down the days until the opening of Fantasy Springs. The theme park will also be selling special popcorn boxes with a Fantasy Springs countdown on.

Fantasy Springs, the eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea, will open to the public on 6 June 2024. It contains three areas inspired by FrozenTangled and Peter Pan, as well as the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.

Highlights include new boat rides called Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey and Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, and the Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies attractions.

New themed port to open on 6 June

Opened in 2001, Tokyo DisneySea is Tokyo Disney Resort’s second gate. The 49-hectare park currently boasts seven themed ports. Tokyo DisneySea started building its $2.2 billion eighth themed port in 2019.

In November, Oriental Land Company (OLC) reported rising visitor numbers at Tokyo Disney Resort.
