Ahead of the opening of Fantasy Springs next month, Tokyo DisneySea has shared a first look at the new port’s attractions, restaurants and retail outlets.
Fantasy Springs, the eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea, opens on 6 June. It features three new areas inspired by Frozen, Tangled and Peter Pan – Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest and Peter Pan’s Never Land.
Fantasy Springs includes a hotel, four new attractions, three dining locations, and a retail outlet.
Starting with the attractions, these are: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies.
Tokyo DisneySea’s eighth port




Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey is a family-friendly boat ride featuring songs from the film, such as ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’, ‘For the First Time in Forever’, ‘Love Is an Open Door’, and ‘Let It Go’.
Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival is a romantic gondola ride, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is a 3D attraction, and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies is a new dark ride.
As for F&B, the Royal Banquet of Arendelle is a Frozen-themed restaurant, and the Snuggly Duckling is named after the tavern in Tangled.
Lookout Cookout is a Peter Pan-themed restaurant made from parts of a shipwreck. Additionally, Oaken’s OK Foods is a Frozen-themed kiosk selling snacks.
Fantasy Springs opens on 6 June




Finally, merchandise can be found inside the Fantasy Springs Hotel at Fantasy Springs Gifts, or at the Springs Treasures kiosk located outside the port.
Tokyo Disney’s operator Oriental Land Company has invested $2.2 billion in Fantasy Springs, which will expand Tokyo DisneySea by around 20 percent.
Opened in 2001, Tokyo DisneySea is Tokyo Disney‘s second gate. The 49-hectare park currently boasts seven themed ports.
Elsewhere, Shanghai Disneyland recently opened its new Zootopia land.
