Epic Universe is on track to open in 2025

Universal Orlando is to open a preview centre next month for the new Universal Epic Universe theme park.

The Universal Epic Universe Preview Center will be located at Universal CityWalk. It will include a huge model of Epic Universe, showing off the new park’s attractions and experiences.

Additionally, guests will be able to use augmented reality (AR) on their mobile devices to bring Universal Orlando‘s fourth gate to life.

Debuting in June, the preview centre will be located in the former Universal Legacy Store in CityWalk. As well as the model and AR experience, the venue will sell new Epic Universe merchandise, and there will be photo opportunities.

Due to open in 2025, Epic Universe will be Universal’s biggest theme park in the US. It will join Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay in the Sunshine State.

Epic Universe will house five themed lands with more than 50 attractions, experiences, and retail and F&B outlets.

The new lands are: Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of MagicHow to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Celestial Park.

So far, Universal Orlando has unveiled the park’s Super Nintendo World, as well as Isle of Berk and Celestial Park.

Earlier this year, the resort shared new details about two hotels opening next to Epic Universe – the Stella Nova and Terra Luna resorts.

Both cosmic-themed hotels are co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels and brought to life by Universal Creative. Together, the hotels offer a total of 1,500 guest rooms.
