Toverland, an amusement park in the Netherlands, has announced a €98m expansion plan to grow into a resort destination.

The attraction in Sevenum confirmed to blooloop that it will be carrying out several major projects in the coming years, both in the park and behind the scenes.

Beginning with the hotel plans, Toverland is developing permanent accommodation for its guests. The park has already applied for a permit from the municipality of Horst aan de Maas.

Among Toverland's planned projects are a new attraction on the site of the Maximus' Blitz Bahn ride, a closing date for which will be announced in the future.

In addition, a new dark ride is proposed for the Port Laguna area at Toverland, with this project still in the early design phase.

As previously revealed, Toverland has started building the Clubhuis (Clubhouse), a new carbon neutral office space for employees with break rooms, a bistro, a dance studio and sports facilities.

Toverland is investing €98m in these projects, using a mix of its own funds and external financing.

"Toverland is constantly evolving, as are the exact details of the various projects. We will therefore announce more information at a later date," said a spokesperson for the park.

Last year, Toverland renovated its Troy coaster, the fastest, longest and tallest wooden coaster in the Benelux region.

Currently, Toverland is made up of six themed areas with around 40 attractions and shows.

It broke its own attendance record in 2025 for the third consecutive year, attributing the increase in visitors to continued investments in seasonal events and attractions.
