DJ Willrich has been named ‘Systems Company of the Year’ and overall UK ‘AV Company of the Year’ after its projects across the world impressed top industry judges.

The Hampshire-based company scooped three awards at the Professional AV Awards in London on Friday 8th October – one in the education category, one for AV systems company of the year and, to top it off, the firm was awarded the Grand Prix prize for the whole ceremony.

Specialists in the field of audio visual and multimedia system integration, DJW has built up a global reputation as an industry leader since its inception 25 years ago.

Its portfolio of work includes museums and theme parks worldwide, as well as penthouse apartments, superyachts and stately homes in the UK.

Directors David and Lynn Willrich and Josh Miller attended the awards ceremony at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, where comedian Rufus Hound presented them with their awards. David said: “It was a great evening, although we did face some tough competition as there were so many good entries for this year’s AV awards.

“We are thrilled to receive three awards and most importantly for the whole team to be acknowledged for the hard work we do within the AV industry. To be credited as AV Company of the Year is a huge honour.”

Judge Tony Bicknell, from Futuresource Consulting, said: “D J Willrich demonstrated high levels of technical expertise across a range of projects.”

Over 500 professional AV specialists, including manufacturers, distributors and systems installers, attended the glitzy awards ceremony.
