Paragon Licensing’s branded attraction concepts come with the promise of adding value to a venue as well as being innovative and exciting.

KidSteam’s selection of unique attractions for Family Entertainment Centres (FECs), amusement venues and leisure facilities are green-efficient and health-conscious.

Mark Pyrah, CEO of Paragon Entertainment, remarks: “It’s fantastic that Paragon is able to exclusively bring this unique attraction concept to new audiences for the very first time. As soon as we learnt about the various, innovative attractions included in the KidSteam portfolio, we could really see the amazing potential and opportunities it has for leisure facilities and visitors attractions outside of the US.”

KidSteam’s ‘Kid Powered trains’are tipped to be a popular choice with leisure venues.

Children of 4 and up pedal with their hands to power the trains along a bespoke track, the speed of the pedalling determining the speed of the train.

Multiple trains can be added to the track layout according to the customer’s specifications. The experience is healthy, exciting and environmentally friendly: the pedal-powered trains require no electricity which keeps operational and running costs low.

Pyrah continues: “The Kid Powered Train from KidSteam is another great example of an attraction that is cost effective and environmentally conscious and ensures the children are interacting with one another, as well as taking part in active play through the pedal-powered handcars.

“From an operator point of view, it can be installed into any size of site, from a location as small as 15 feet in diameter with no power required, creating a product that is economical, green and great fun for all the family.”

As part of Paragon’s offer, all leisure operators who select one of the attraction concepts from the portfolio will be supported closely by the Paragon team throughout the design, planning and installation stages, with continuing support once the attraction is running.

York-based Paragon understands that each FEC and leisure facility has its own unique requirements, and the company’s team of expert designers, operators and engineers will create an attraction tailored to the specific location, audience and situation of each operator.

Pyrah concludes: “The flexibility in the size, style and theme of each KidSteam attraction available means that operators have a varied choice and can choose a unique ride that suits their environment, space and audience. We already have some great enquiries coming in!”
