Martin Aquatic Legacy

Since the founding of our firm as Aquatic Design & Engineering more than 30 years ago, the industry that we worked in grew up around us. Over time, our name became synonymous with the very services that we provide. Meanwhile, our firm’s leaders also grew into trusted and respected leaders for the industry. We can think of no better time, and no better way, to introduce a new identity for our firm… than to call ourselves Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering.

By attaching the Martin name to our company, we are attaching the solid reputation of Ken and Josh to every project, assuring our clients that each team member delivers the highest standard of quality in the aquatics industry.

Through this change, Martin Aquatic maintains its commitment to engineering excellence. Our creative concept team, production studios, and group of professional engineers remain dedicated to bringing our clients innovative and enduring solutions for even the most complex aquatic projects. We have completed nearly 2,500 projects in our firm’s history, and we look forward to every project we complete moving forward as Martin Aquatic.

This video is more than a celebration of our past 10 years. It’s also a tribute to everyone who, over the years, has been part of this journey, and a promise of how much further we’re ready to go.

Cheers!

Windsor Great Park Adventure Play

In this video we take a fly over the amazing new play at Windsor Great Park. Created with local oak and using the local craftsmen to thatch the rooves of some of the structures. It opened in 2023 and for us, is a truly astonishing build.

The Adventure Playground at Newhaven Fort

The Adventure Playground at Newhaven Fort creates a unique insight into the fertile and sometimes crazy minds of Victorian inventors and inventions. It was also part of the brief to celebrate Victorian ingenuity and creativity rather than the guns and war for which the fort is known for.

The Roderick Dhu Lookout Tower at Loch Katrine

A truly special project, inspired by the birthplace of Scottish tourism. With a unique blend of challenges — the remarkable location, its rich historical context, and the complex, remote build — we set out to document the journey of bringing this lookout tower to life. From processing the timber in our Norfolk workshop to helicopter drops of materials on the hilltop site, every step was an adventure worth sharing.
