MSC Cruises‘ new ship, MSC World Asia, will offer new attractions like the world’s longest dry slide at sea when it sets sail next year.
MSC World Asia, the third ship in the cruise line’s World Class series, is set to sail the Mediterranean from 11 December 2026.
Like MSC World Asia‘s sister ship, MSC World America, the new vessel will feature seven districts, including World Promenade.
World Promenade, an open-air space for dining and entertainment, will house a new concept for MSC Cruises called Tree of Life, set to be the world’s longest dry slide at sea at 266.7 feet.
Inspired by Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, Tree of Life will send guests down 12 decks in seconds.
Other highlights on MSC World Asia include more than 40 bars and restaurants, an outdoor park called The Harbour, and the Cliffhanger overwater swing ride.
Unique attractions on MSC cruise ships
Additionally, the new ship will provide wellness experiences including zen pools and an expansive Aurea Spa. It also boasts seven pools and 13 hot tubs.
MSC World Asia is the third in MSC’s LNG-powered World Class series, following MSC World Europa and MSC World America. The fourth is MSC World Atlantic.
MSC Cruises is also ordering two more World Class ships to offer a total of six World Class vessels in its expanding fleet.

Next-generation cruises, or floating theme parks, are a major trend in the attractions business at the moment.
Ben Wilson, MSC Cruises’ head of architecture and concept design, told blooloop last year: “I think the lines are becoming more blurred when it comes to attractions and entertainment.”
He added, “Things don’t just belong in one sector or category, which is good as we are all learning from each other’s experience and expertise.”
