The accolade is a sign of the company’s growth in the Chinese market

Polin Waterparks, a leader and innovator in waterpark technology, has received an industry award for “Outstanding Water Rides Supplier” in China. Polin has realised the importance of the Asian market to the amusement industry, with a growing number of investments in the region and the creation of its own company in Shanghai.

This new office has enabled the company to work at some of the largest water parks in China, which feature the firm’s award-winning waterslides. As a result of its continued business, Polin Waterparks has been granted the 2021 Golden Crown Award for Outstanding Water Rides Supplier.

The firm attributes the award to one of its major projects, Visionland Dinosaur Waterland in Huangshi, China. The park features four of the group’s signature rides including the Space Shuttle, Space Boat, and combo slides, which provide a unique design and experience for the venue.

“Unprecedented times”

Emre Kisioglu, Polin’s general manager for China says: “This project was finished under difficult conditions. First, the global COVID-19 epidemic was influencing various industries including production, logistics and installation, and secondly, we had a very tight lead time to finish the project from contract signing, with only eight months to hand over this turnkey project for our slides.”

“We needed to ship the products from Turkey by sea which makes lead time even harder to achieve. However, with all the hard work and thanks to our efficient factory production and great team, we achieved a great result! This actually is a very good example to show the strength of Polin in China from designing to the final execution step of the project.”

The company adds: “Polin is so proud to be recognised with such an important award during these unprecedented times. We would like to thank all our customers around the world for the continuous trust and support during the past years and the many more to come.”

Polin Waterparks recently announced the appointment of Gabriele Geraci as its new business development & supply chain manager for Western Europe.
