ProSlide Water Ride

ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, won the 2019 IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Water Ride in Orlando.

Its ride, the Dueling PipelineBLAST/FlyingSAUCER Water Coaster was installed at Splashway Waterpark in Sheridan, Texas in August 2019. It is the first true-duelling water coaster in the industry and uses new technology to give riders a thrilling experience.

The new water ride uses RocketBLAST water propulsion that allows riders to race each other through a dynamic race track. This technology is a powerful and efficient uphill water ride system that uses jet propulsion to drive the boats higher and faster.

As they duel each other, riders are able to see and hear each other at the RallyPOINTS to increase the thrill of the ride. This ride also has the most FlyingSAUCER curves in any water ride. This technology is a world-first that augments the ride experience by using accelerating open curves.

Focusing on design and innovation

The new ride also features high capacity dual start tubs, giving the riders a bobsled-style racing start as they begin to compete with each other. Unique ride paths switch lanes to create a dynamic race track.

“ProSlide is honoured to win the prestigious IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Water Ride,” says CEO and Chairman of ProSlide, Rick Hunter. “It’s a privilege to work with Splashway, and all of our great clients, on innovative new product introductions.

“We’re relentless in our focus on water ride design and innovation and the Dueling PipelineBLAST/FlyingSAUCER Water Coaster is a breakthrough attraction. IAAPA awards are the pinnacle of our industry and ProSlide is proud to have now won 15 out of 18 Best New Water Ride Awards.”

ProSlide Technology Inc. recently announced Chantal Theoret will take on the role of Director of Global Marketing. She will lead the marketing team and implement ProSlide’s global strategies.
