ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, has announced that Vikingløp RallyRACER, an eight-lane, fully-enclosed racing experience, is now open at Rulantica, Europa-Park’s popular water park.
The new attraction features eight long, curving tracks that are designed to simulate the speed and ferocity of elite ski racing. Riders compete in head-to-head races down the track, navigating shared RallyPOINTS and fully enclosed flume sections while experiencing exhilarating drops and turns along the way.
Competitive ride brings guests back again and again
Vikingløp RallyRACER has the same innovative RallyPOINTS as previous ProSlide RallyRACERs, using low divider walls and a u-shaped flume at strategic touchpoints to let riders see and hear their opponents. As they compete to be the fastest and beat their rivals, visitors will be enticed to return again and again.
ProSlide’s RallyRACER is fully customisable and can include up to 10 lanes. The track plan flexibility is endless and operators can also opt to include OctoRACER or KrakenRACER elements and open or fully enclosed RallyPOINTS, as well as custom fibreglass effects and theming. As a result, amusement park owners can modify the ride to suit their own requirements and provide visitors with a totally distinctive experience.
The journey can be improved even further with the RallyRACER Advanced Leaderboard System, which shows and tracks ride times and race winners, to encourage repeat ridership and increased interactivity.
RallyRACER brings host of benefits
Alongside a fun and competitive water ride experience, RallyRACER also brings a number of benefits for park owners, and their visitors. This type of attraction can boost park capacity, thanks to its advanced design and innovative start system, allowing parks to move guests through the queue and onto the ride more efficiently. In addition to enhancing the visitor experience, this expanded capacity increases revenue for park operators. Parks may make more money from ride admissions and concessions if more visitors can ride the RallyRACER in less time.
