AKA, an award-winning, full-service advertising agency working across the arts & entertainment, leisure, travel, retail, and tourism sectors, has announced the promotion of Kaila Stokes to the role of group account director.

This is her third promotion in less than five years, highlighting the agency’s focus on developing bold, business-driving client leaders from within.

Since joining AKA, Stokes has advanced from project manager to account supervisor and ultimately to client services director. She rapidly gained a reputation for delivering integrated campaigns with accuracy, strengthening client relationships, and supporting growth in AKA’s arts, attractions, and sports sectors.

Recognising a committed leader

In her new role as group account director, Stokes will oversee a chosen group of client relationships, steering campaigns from strategy to execution in close collaboration with AKA’s business intelligence, media, and creative teams.

“Kaila is an outstanding and deeply committed leader,” says Kevin Bradley, senior vice president for arts and culture at AKA US.

“She brings sharp strategic instincts, strong client judgment, and the ability to move complex work forward with clarity and confidence. Clients trust her. Teams rely on her. This promotion reflects the positive impact she brings to AKA every day.”

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue advancing ambitious, integrated work for our clients,” adds Stokes.

“AKA’s 16+ years of getting people to go places creates a powerful advantage for the brands and organizations we serve. I look forward to deepening our partnerships and helping shape continued growth across the categories we lead.”

This announcement follows the appointment of Marc Jablonski to the role of vice president of business strategy earlier this month, recognising his role in developing the agency’s data and analytics capabilities. Moving forward, he will define the long-term vision for data, analytics, and research to guide AKA’s planning, client growth, and investment strategy.
