The Detroit Zoological Society (DZS) has issued an RFQ in relation to construction management services for the Zoo’s expansion of the Tiger Forest Habitat.

The DZS requires a potential contractor to have experience of managing capital projects, and "have the ability to expand the existingTiger Habitat, based on design concepts, within the timeframe provided by the DZS". In addition there must be "a commitment to sustainability and utilize efforts to incorporate greentechnology and methods whenever possible".

Deadline for submissions is August 21, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.

Paignton Zoo put on the market by owner, Wild Planet Trust

Paignton Zoo owner Wild Planet Trust has confirmed that the 85-acre zoo, home to more than 2,000 animals, is on the market alongside 18 acres of adjacent land.
