Axess, a leading provider of ticketing and access management solutions for the visitor attractions industry, has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the Axess SMART GATE 600.
Building on the success of the AX 500 SMART GATE NG, the new generation offers enhanced ticket validation, flexible component options, and a suite of future-proof features.
Designed for operators in stadiums, arenas, theme parks, water parks, zoos, and museums, this gate provides an efficient solution for managing high-traffic entry points.
A flexible solution
The SMART GATE 600, equipped with the Axess SUITE READER 600, prioritises user convenience.
It supports various ticket technologies, such as barcode, NFC, and RFID, and can optionally include a camera with facial recognition, ideal for stadiums and arenas. The module’s rotation and tilt are adjustable, providing visitors with a highly comfortable and intuitive entry experience.
The SMART GATE 600 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, enabling contactless entry thanks to smart sensors and offering adjustable opening and closing speeds. Its compact height and contemporary design allow it to blend with any architectural style.
With a modular build, it can be installed as either a fixed or mobile system. A variety of components, including the classic Axess TURNSTILE 600, the SMG MOBILE PALETTE, and the FLAP 600 Glass, offer flexible customisation options.
“With the SMART GATE 600, we are continuing the successful evolution of our SMART GATE product line, delivering exceptional user convenience to our customers," says Christian Müller, head of business unit attractions at Axess.
"By integrating the Axess SUITE READER 600, we enable flexible and efficient access management—without compromising on design or functionality."
Recently, Axess also shared insights into the benefits of end-to-end guest management solutions. In an industry where experience matters most, the very first touchpoint can significantly shape a visitor’s impression.
