Netflix is opening a new immersive experience in Los Angeles called Squid Game: The Trials later this year.

In the latest real-life Squid Game experience, guests will take on a series of increasingly difficult challenges, gaining points as they progress.

“After greeting the iconic ‘Front Man’ himself, you will tackle a series of escalating challenges, accumulating points as you advance,” Netflix said in a press release.

“The ultimate winner needs nerves of steel, cunning strategy, and a touch of luck. Are you up for the challenge?”

After the experience, guests can head to the ‘Night Market’ for Korean and international food, as well as beverages curated by Katianna Hong, chef at award-winning Korean-American restaurant Yangban in LA. Additionally, a store will be selling exclusive Squid Game collectibles and other merchandise.

Netflix is already behind brand experiences based on BridgertonStranger Things and Money Heist. Earlier this year, the streaming giant opened a pop-up restaurant in LA called Netflix Bites, which serves dishes inspired by Netflix food personalities.

Sandbox VR previously partnered with Netflix to create a virtual reality (VR) experience inspired by Squid Game. Another attraction based on Squid Game is available at Immersive Gamebox venues in the US and UK.
