Orlando, Florida is getting a new Nickelodeon resort, due to open in the 220-acre Everest Place complex in Kissimmee in 2026.
The 400-room Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando was announced by Paramount, Everest Place and Lion Star Hospitality, the US licensee for Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
Rooms and experiences in the new hotel will be themed to Nickelodeon brands such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Paw Patrol, Dora the Explorer, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The new hotel will “bring guests and residents an exciting new way to express their fandom and make long-lasting memories”, said Pam Kaufman, president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products and experiences at Paramount.

“I am thrilled that this resort is set to become yet another unforgettable travel destination in our award-winning portfolio, offering top family-focused amenities,” she added.
“This new resort is just one of the many ways we are committed to bringing immersive experiences, attractions and products to fans of Paramount’s brands all over the world.”
Billed as a world of play, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando will include the SpongeBob-themed Le Spatula restaurant, and Mikey’s Pizzeria, inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles‘ favourite food.
The resort will also feature the Aqua Nick water park, themed retail outlets, character interactions, and the chance to get slimed.
Immersive hotel experiences
Zafir Rashid, CEO of Everest Place, said the resort will offer “an unparalleled Nickelodeon-infused family experience, interactive character encounters, unrivalled seasonal programming, and unmatched entertainment for everyone”.
Mario Mathieu, SVP of business development, design and construction at Karisma Hotels & Resorts, said Lion Star is “committed to elevating this venture to new heights, ensuring that families and Nickelodeon enthusiasts alike enjoy the slime of their life”.
Earlier this year, Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America opened a new ride called Fly with Appa, based on Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise.
