Guests are invited to take part in a new study at Hawkins Lab before meeting the Demogorgon.

New York is home to a new Stranger Things experience at the Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard to celebrate the release of Stranger Things season 4 today (27 May).

Stranger Things: The Experience is an interactive attraction that takes guests to the uʍop ǝpᴉsdn. It features immersive sets and special effects, a new storyline, special merchandise, photo opportunities, and F&B.

The Duggal Greenhouse has been transformed into iconic locations in Hawkins, with guests invited to take part in a new study at Hawkins Lab before meeting the Demogorgon.

After this, visitors enter an area called the Mix-Tape, which is a recreation of the show’s Starcourt Mall. Here, visitors can enjoy an ice cream from Scoops Ahoy or a slice of pizza at Surfer Boy Pizza. The Mix-Tape is also home to the Palace Arcade.

“When you come into the Mix-Tape, as you walk around, you see a lot of familiar things, but you also see some new elements,” said tour general manager George Anthony (via NBC New York).

“So, we have Hellfire Club, which is a new element in season four. We have Surfer Boy Pizza and also Rink-O-Mania.”

Following the success of Stranger Things: The Drive Into Experience, Netflix launched its first-ever Stranger Things pop-up shops in New York City and Los Angeles.

Stranger Things: The Experience covers an area of 35,000 square feet. It was co-produced by Netflix and Fever.

Elsewhere, Swamp Motel has joined forces with Prime Video’s The Boys to develop an “explosive and gory” immersive experience in London called ‘Get the V’ ahead of the release of The Boys season 3.
