Chance Rides, a leading amusement ride manufacturer, is highlighting the value of face-to-face connections during the industry’s busy show season.

With social media and online communication offering more opportunities to connect throughout the year, the manufacturer says in-person events still play an important role in building relationships, exchanging ideas, and understanding clients' needs.

“After 65 years in the industry, we believe the answer is yes,” says Aaron Landrum, CEO of Chance Rides, on whether investing in attending and exhibiting at trade shows remains worthwhile.

While digital platforms help companies stay in touch and introduce their work to new audiences, Landrum says meeting in person creates opportunities for deeper conversations. Discussions that begin with a question about a product can develop into a better understanding of a client's plans, challenges and priorities.

Chance Rides also sees trade shows as a chance to reconnect with existing clients and industry peers, learn how requirements are changing, and gain insight into the direction of the amusement industry.

“These conversations help shape how we move forward,” says Landrum.

For Chance Rides, attending industry events strengthens existing relationships while building new ones. The company views show season as an extension of online connections, offering a chance to put faces to names and continue conversations in person.

“Each show is an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and begin new ones,” Landrum says.

The company will continue these conversations at IAAPA Expo, where visitors can meet the Chance Rides team at booth #S4826 to discuss projects, explore its offerings, and share their plans for the future.

“As the ways we connect continue to evolve, making time to show up, listen, and get to know one another remains a meaningful part of how we do business,” Landrum adds.

Last month, Chance Rides announced the appointment of Jayden Wallentine, who joined the company in April 2026 as a sales executive, managing its zoos and aquariums segment.
