CONDUCTR, the UK-based innovation studio, has collaborated with Supercell, a game company based in Finland, to create Clash for the Stache, an interactive challenge room experience that brings Clash of Clans into the physical world.
The experience launched on 15 July ahead of San Diego Comic Con, and is set to run until 7 September.

Bespoke IP-driven interactive
Created with Supercell, Fever and GDX, Clash for the Stache is a live experience that immerses visitors in the universe of the hit mobile strategy game, welcoming groups of players to take on a series of interactive physical challenges in an epic Clash quest.
CONDUCTR led the development of the gameplay media and software that drives the experience. Its sister company, Game Volt, provided its Arena platform.

With this project, Game Volt and CONDUCTR show how their modular technology platform and in-house creative and technical expertise can come together to create custom interactive experiences for internationally recognised entertainment brands.
By combining gameplay development, software engineering, media production and immersive design, the partnership demonstrates a versatile approach to translating digital worlds into shared physical experiences.
Jos van der Steen, COO at CONDUCTR, says: "One of the biggest challenges with any well-known entertainment brand is creating a physical experience that feels authentic to the world people already know and love. Every interaction has to feel considered, from the gameplay itself through to the technology that powers it.
"Projects like this demonstrate what's possible when flexible technology platforms are combined with in-house creative and technical development.
"By bringing together Game Volt's Arena platform with CONDUCTR's software, media and gameplay expertise, we're able to create bespoke experiences that stay true to the original IP while delivering something entirely new for audiences."

The partnership represents another landmark in CONDUCTR's growing portfolio of immersive entertainment projects delivered across the attractions, cruise and location-based entertainment (LBE) sectors.
In the wake of the launch, the studio is set to share further insights into the project's development, including a behind-the-scenes look at its gameplay, creative development and technology.
Earlier this year, CONDUCTR was selected to create a new immersive media experience for Land’s End and The Needles in the UK.
