Samsun Astorya Flying Theater has been honoured in the European Star Awards 2026
Designed and manufactured by DOF Robotics, the Samsun Astorya Flying Theater launched in March 2026 at the Panorama Samsun Digital Exhibition Center in Turkey.
The attraction, which marks the country's first flying theatre, brings together a high-resolution dome projection system, a six-degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) motion platform, and multisensory effects to deliver an authentic flying sensation.
DOF Robotics has also delivered the format in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Acclaimed engineering
The accolade marks a significant milestone for DOF Robotics, cementing Samsun's position in the global entertainment tourism landscape and adding to a series of recognitions the company has received in Turkey and worldwide.

The company, which holds Turquality brand status, is headquartered in Istanbul and has offices across the US, Europe and Australia.
It delivers robotic systems, motion simulators, immersive entertainment technologies, games and content, and AI-powered experience solutions to over 80 countries, in partnership with internationally recognised brands such as Marvel.
The European Star Awards is an entirely independent, nonprofit initiative which has been running since 2012. Every year, the winners are celebrated at an evening reception during IAAPA Expo Europe. The show's 2026 edition took place at ExCeL London from 22 to 24 September.
Also at IAAPA Expo Europe, DOF Robotics debuted its compact immersive flight attraction, SphereFly. Guests sit in a suspended arrangement facing a curved screen, where synchronised 6-DOF motion is combined with multisensory effects such as wind, water mist, and scent.
The company also highlighted its growing IP portfolio, including The Smurfs, previewed a new partnership with Transformers, and officially launched Neo Cappadocia, a flagship project from Neo Planet, DOF Robotics' experience-economy brand.
