Field Station: Dinosaurs, a theme park in Leonia, New Jersey, has listed its animatronic dinosaurs for sale ahead of its closure next month.

The park, which is closing permanently on 9 November, is home to more than 30 animatronic dinosaurs, many of which are up for sale on Facebook Marketplace.


These range from a $700 Velociraptor to a $2,800 life-sized Spinosaurus. Buyers can also purchase a Tyrannosaurus Rex ($2,700), a $1,260 Stegosaurus, and a Triceratops ($2,230).

Additional animatronics on sale include Pterodactyls for $850, a set of three Velociraptors for $2,040, and a life-sized Parasaurolophus for $2,410.

As above, Field Station: Dinosaurs is closing to the public in less than a month.

Guy Gsell, executive producer of Field Station: Dinosaurs, said in a previous statement: “This final season is about celebrating the joy, curiosity, and memories we’ve created with generations of families.

“We’re proud of what Field Station has meant to the community, and we’re excited to share one last unforgettable season with our guests."

In December, he confirmed that the attraction was becoming a nonprofit. He told NorthJersey.com: "This is all about setting us up for the future.

"We want to make sure the park can continue its mission and its ability to serve the people of Bergen County and New Jersey for the next 15, 20 or 50 years. We want to be that kind of institution."

In the UK, a dinosaur-themed visitor attraction located in Tenby, Pembrokeshire is on the market for £4.5 million.
