Triotech Dynamic Explorer at Malta National Aquarium

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, is celebrating the launch of its Dynamic Explorer edutainment experience at the Malta National Aquarium.

This immersive attraction takes visitors on an underwater journey unlike any other, seamlessly mixing cutting-edge technology with spectacular effects.

Immersive educational adventure

The attraction, known as ‘The Deep Explorer’ at Malta National Aquarium, provides an immersive and informative experience in which visitors of all ages can explore the underwater world.

The Dynamic Explorer has a capacity of up to 20 passengers, who are plunged into an underwater abyss during this simulated adventure. The trip is cut short by an encounter with a giant squid. This surprising turn enhances immersion and encourages a deep connection with the ocean.

Mark Pace, director of sales and marketing at Malta National Aquarium, says: “This cutting-edge attraction aligns seamlessly with our mission to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation for marine life.

“The collaboration with Triotech has resulted in an immersive journey that goes beyond entertainment, offering our visitors an enriching experience that fosters awareness and respect for the wonders of the ocean. We are excited to provide a unique and educational adventure for our guests.”

Gabi Salabi, managing director, projects at Triotech, adds: “The Deep Explorer at the Malta National Aquarium is more than an attraction. We’re fostering a transformation in the realm of edutainment. The guests’ journey is one of emotion, edutainment, and surprise. It’s a testament to Triotech’s relentless pursuit of redefining what’s possible in the world of immersive experiences.”

The Deep Explorer demonstrates Triotech’s dedication to combining entertainment and education. Its finely crafted theming, motion system, and special effects (for example, smoke, strobe lights, trap doors, and dynamic lighting) provide a thrilling, authentic and immersive experience.

Triotech recently celebrated the success of its interactive dark coaster, Primordial, which was named number one in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in the Best New Theme Park Attraction category.
