London Experience Week (LXW), the world’s first comprehensive city-wide event celebrating the multi-trillion-dollar global experience economy, will take place from 20 - 24 April 2026, in collaboration with London & Partners and backed by the Mayor of London.

The week-long event, held by the World Experience Organization (WXO), takes place at the renowned Ministry of Sound. It brings together top experience designers, cultural institutions, brands, technologists, and creators from 30 countries to celebrate the experience economy, now valued at £134 billion in the UK alone.

Building on the success of the first edition, London Experience Week 2026 has expanded from a single event into a city-wide platform. It now includes a flagship World Experience Summit, a curated Experience Safari, and an expanding lineup of fringe events and activations throughout the capital.

WXO is a leading expert on the $13 trillion Experience Economy, uniting top professionals from entertainment, hospitality, tourism, and other sectors to shape the future of experiences.

With more than 1,100 members from over 50 countries, WXO provides membership benefits, exclusive summits, thought leadership, and a community of creators, operators, and experience professionals.

Expert speakers, tours and more

LXW will highlight London’s strengths in culture, creativity, technology, and hospitality, emphasising its role as a global testing ground for new experience formats.

Gen Cleary will share how The Hum elevated New York's experiential retail space, while Katrina Lat from No Proscenium will reflect on lessons learned from reviewing 800 immersive experiences.

Plus, Jeff Wayne will reveal upcoming changes to Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Experience, and Bob Rogers of BRC Imagination Arts will speak on crafting transformational visitor attractions.

The summit will also feature speakers from Odyssey Works, Innovate UK, Secret Cinema, Third Rail Projects, ID3, SCAD, Woander, and many more.

Confirmed events for the Experience Safari include an exclusive opening night at Lightroom for David Bowie: You're Not Alone, a private listening room experience from L-Acoustics, and an inside look at the transformative world of Bompas & Parr.

Attendees can also enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of Vikings: The Immersive Experience and Punchdrunk’s Lander 23.

Additionally, there will be a special LXW26 launch activation at Piccadilly Lights and The Venue, along with exclusive tours, networking events, and offers at venues such as ABBA Voyage, NEON, Outernet, Elvis Evolution, Olympia, The Crystal Maze Experience, and many others.

The global experience community comes to London

James Wallman, founder of the WXO, says: “London Experience Week has become the moment when the global experience economy converges on London.

“Not just to talk about experiences, but to actually experience the city: behind the scenes, across culture, technology, entertainment and design. Think London Fashion Week or Milan’s Salone de Mobile, but for experiences.”

“Early momentum for the 2026 edition has been strong, with ticket sales tracking well ahead of the same point last year and attendees already confirmed from 30 countries. Around half of current ticket holders did not attend the previous edition, signalling international growth beyond our existing community.

"Many returning attendees are now bringing their teams, underlining London Experience Week’s growing role as a professional anchor point for the global sector.”

Media partnership

WXO has also announced a new media partnership with blooloop during London Experience Week, uniting two organisations dedicated to advancing the future of the Experience Economy.

Through coverage on its website and live updates from the WXO Experience Summit at Ministry of Sound, blooloop will highlight the ideas, discussions, and creativity that make London Experience Week a key event for the industry.

The partnership extends beyond media coverage, as the blooloop team will also participate on stage during the week, leading sessions and roundtables, sharing their insights, perspectives, and expertise with the program.

“We’re delighted to be working with blooloop as a media partner for London Experience Week,” says Wallman.

“We’ve long admired the business they’ve built and the authority they bring across key sectors, including visitor attractions, museums, theme parks and immersive entertainment. Their reach, insight and deep connection to the industry make them an ideal partner for LXW.”

“We’re so pleased to be a part of London Experience Week,” adds Ruth Read, director at blooloop.

“LXW is a unique gathering place for creatives within the immersive industry, bringing together some of the most exciting voices and ideas shaping the Experience Economy today.
