The United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs may be in line for a brand new visitor complex.
If the proposal is approved, the site would offer a new Air Force Academy visitor centre, hotel, restaurants and retail shops.
Blue and Silver Development Partners presented plans to El Paso Commissioners last week.
The project is a response to falling visitor numbers. Attendance has reportedly plummeted since 9/11. One of the main reasons is thought to be the increase in security requirements.
The City for Champions project in Colorado Springs includes a $13 million dollar tax incentive for a new visitor centre.
