FuseMetrix marks a successful go-live with Eureka! at both of its sites

FuseMetrix, a leisure management software provider, has successfully launched its booking and visitor management system across all Eureka! sites this week. The technology is now live at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax, and Eureka! Science + Discovery on the Wirral, both in the UK.

These successful implementations mark an important milestone for FuseMetrix, strengthening the company's growing presence within the museums sector and demonstrating its ability to deliver complex, multi-site projects tailored to the needs of established cultural organisations.

Callum Knight, sales director, FuseMetrix, says: "We’re really excited to be working with Eureka!, such a well-known and well-loved attraction within the sector.

"From the very beginning of the project, the team at Eureka! have been fantastic to work with, and their enthusiasm and commitment have made the whole process a real pleasure.

"As we look to expand further into the museums and visitor attractions space, it’s fantastic to be working with such a great brand and a highly regarded organisation in the sector.

"We’re delighted to see the new system now live and look forward to continuing to build on this partnership and supporting Eureka! in the years to come."

Streamlining processes for a complex organisation

FuseMetrix collaborated closely with the Eureka! team throughout the deployment, supporting system configuration, data migration, team training and preparation for go-live.

The project sought to bring several previously manual processes into one central system, helping staff to streamline day-to-day operations while enhancing the visitor experience.

Gift Aid was a key consideration. With the FuseMetrix system, the required Gift Aid details are captured during booking, with Gift Aid reporting formatted to make HMRC submission straightforward. This minimises the administration required to process eligible donations.

The implementation also included activatable annual passes, improving flexibility and encouraging repeat visits. Guests who buy a day ticket can now activate it as an annual pass through their online account. This means that they can return to the attraction for free for the following year, with no manual intervention required.

Schools and group bookings also joined the FuseMetrix system. These bookings previously involved manual processes, but now teams can manage them directly within the platform, delivering a more centralised view of group activity and helping streamline management from initial enquiry through to visit.

Like all FuseMetrix implementations, the system combines features including ticketing and booking management, product configuration, users and permissions, till setup, marketing communications, retail, schools and groups, and reporting.

The system has then been configured to meet the organisation's specific needs, with training delivered across its different areas. The result is a central platform that supports operations across both Eureka! locations, with teams ready to use the new system and continue developing their processes within it.

For FuseMetrix, the project is also a key step in its ongoing expansion within the museums and cultural attractions industry.

Ongoing relationship

The Eureka! implementation demonstrates the versatility of the FuseMetrix platform in supporting a complex, multi-site organisation and meeting the requirements of both a charity and a visitor attraction.

Andy Forbes, finance and resource director, Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, says: "We’re delighted to have worked with the team at FuseMetrix throughout the implementation of the new system. They’ve provided expert support and guidance throughout the process, helping us reach a smooth go-live.

"We’re really pleased to now be live with the system and look forward to seeing the benefits it will bring to Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax and Eureka! Science + Discovery on the Wirral as we continue to develop and improve the way we work.

"The FuseMetrix team have been great to work with, and we look forward to developing our relationship with them further."

FuseMetrix looks forward to continuing to support Eureka! following their go-live, supporting the teams as they continue to improve efficiency, streamline processes and elevate their visitor journey.

Recently, FuseMetrix brought its unified, flexible platform to Twycross Zoo, a prominent UK visitor attraction and conservation charity, to help modernise the visitor experience.
