Communicating the Arts (CTA), a global network of professionals who believe in the transformative potential of culture, has shared more details ahead of this year’s Communicating the Arts Forum in Singapore.
CTA has announced that a new line-up of expert speakers has been added to the agenda, including Zsuzsanna Feher, deputy director of marketing & communications at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest; Philippe Riviere, director of digital at Art Explora in Paris; and Charlene Belanger, head of education and wellness research at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal.
Other new additions include Zavette Quadros-Evangelista, manager of school programs and early learning, public programs and learning at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto; Louise Howlett, director, producer, theatre-maker and artistic director at ReAction Theatre in Melbourne; and Kevin Lim, director of innovation & technology at National Gallery Singapore.

These new speakers join previously announced experts from across the sector, such as Honor Harger, vice president at the ArtScience Museum; Wesley Shaw, programs manager for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney; Scarlett Hu, assistant director of the Getty Museum in Los Angeles; Dr Natalia Grincheva, program leader in Arts Management at LASALLE College of Art in Singapore, and many more.
Communicating the Arts 2023 will be hosted by the National Gallery Singapore from 20 – 22 November, and the team have shared their favourite experiences in Singapore ahead of the event. This includes the Rain Vortex at Changi Airport, the UNESCO World Heritage Botanic Gardens, the Sensory Odyssey exhibition at the ArtScience Museum, the Singapore Art Museum at the Tanjong Pagar Distripark and the bustling night market in Little India.
The mission of CTA is to assist professionals working in the art world to gain the tools they need to succeed in their mission and keep up with what’s new in a fast-changing sector. The theme of this year’s Communicating the Arts Forum is Arts+Technology.
Ahead of the Forum, blooloop spoke to CTA founder Corinne Estrada, who talked about the organisation’s vision and its evolution over the past two decades and gave a sneak peek at what attendees can expect from this year’s event.
