Sarner International has teamed up with BBC Studios on a Doctor Who exhibition, opening at Liverpool’s World Museum.

Sarner International, the leading experiential design expert, has teamed up with BBC Studios to design a Doctor Who exhibition, opening at Liverpool’s World Museum in May 2022.

Titled ‘Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder’, the exhibit will explore the science behind Doctor Who, giving fans the chance to experience the Doctor’s adventures from a scientific perspective.

Produced by Sarner International under license from BBC Studios, National Museums Liverpool is hosting the world premiere of Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder at the World Museum.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming the world premiere of Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder to World Museum,” said Fiona Philpott, director of exhibitions at National Museums Liverpool.

“We’re so lucky to be the first museum in the world to host this must-see experience, which offers exclusive insight for Doctor Who buffs, science fiction fans and anybody else with a curious mind.”

The educational exhibition is spread across eight zones of immersive experiences and interactive content, with guests learning about the Doctor’s police box in the TARDIS Tech room.

Additional offerings include a journey through Cosmic Curiosities, as well as the opportunity to meet curious creatures and characters from the BBC series at the Monster Vault.

Following its work on the successful Doctor Who Experience in London and Cardiff, Sarner worked alongside BBC Studios to design, create and produce Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to work with BBC Studios again,” said Ed Cookson, projects director at Sarner International.

National Museums Liverpool members got early access to Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder tickets on October 13. Tickets go on general sale tomorrow, October 15.

Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder is set to travel across the UK after appearing at the World Museum, with plans to tour internationally.
