Exhibits Development Group, a global leader in travelling exhibitions, has announced that it will be present at the ASTC Conference in Toronto, Canada, where it is hosting a giveaway.
Exhibits Development Group (EDG) is pleased to be attending the Association of Science and Technology Center’s Annual Conference when it takes place in Toronto this weekend, from the 20th – 23rd September. The team are looking forward to meeting delegates and showcasing the company’s innovative STEAM and STEM exhibitions. EDG is also presenting a competition to win a free exhibition, in an industry first.
Along with Stage Nine, the company has invited science, history and children’s museums to pitch themselves as the debut venue for a new exhibition, The Lost World of Dragons. The winning institution will benefit from a 3-month rental, at only the cost of logistics.
Digital Me
EDG has also teamed up with MadaTech, Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space to co-develop and distribute exhibitions. The first of these projects, Digital Me, is now available. This experience allows visitors to explore today’s digital world through a series of exhibits looking at technology, art, play, and media.
It deals with what goes on in the digital world, as well as looking at the traces that visitors leave behind online. The exhibition enables people to understand how their actions and images are preserved and stored in the digital world, and how this can affect them.
CultureNut Xchange
Attendees at the ATSC conference will also be able to find out more about EDG’s new project, CultureNut Xchange. This global marketplace helps institutions to get rid of unused assets and monetise them. To date, EDG has helped institutions sell entire exhibitions, dinosaurs, technical equipment, conservation equipment, and more.
The team will be at booth #920 during the event.
Earlier this year, EDG opened bookings for its immersive Star Trek exhibition. Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds is available between October 2019 and March 2020. The exhibition includes over 100 rare artefacts, props and set pieces from the Star Trek TV series, spin-offs, and movies.
