Exhibits Development Group Death by Natural Causes

Exhibits Development Group (EDG), a global leader in travelling exhibitions, has revealed details of its new travelling exhibition, Death by Natural Causes.

This hugely popular exhibition saw unparalleled attendance at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where it was extended due to overwhelming demand. EDG has been tasked with creating a travelling version that will enthrall and educate visitors around the world.

Interactive & intriguing exhibition

Death by Natural Causes takes visitors on an unexpectedly enjoyable tour of the undiscovered hazards that exist in nature. This fascinating exhibition examines the grave dangers that we frequently ignore but live with every day.

The exhibition uses interactive exhibits and intriguing storytelling to shed light on the roots of popular phrases like “poison” and “toxic,” dispelling misconceptions and old wives’ tales. Death by Natural Causes looks at daily hazards and their consequences for the human body and mind, using a rigorous scientific method and playful approach.

Visitors will leave with a greater awareness of potential risks in the natural world, as well as a deep awareness of death’s mechanisms and its effect on human existence.

Key exhibition features include:

  • Interactivity. Visitors can take part in hands-on activities that make complicated scientific concepts understandable and enjoyable.
  • Health and safety insights. The exhibition shares vital knowledge about recognising and efficiently reducing natural dangers.
  • Myth-busting areas. Visitors will discover the truth behind numerous urban legends, and improve their skills in distinguishing between myth and scientific fact.
  • Education. Fascinating facts about both common and hidden risks are revealed through thoroughly researched exhibits.

The exhibition is suitable for diverse venues as it can be customised to fit a range of spaces. Its flexible design is suitable for areas of around 500 to 700 square meters (5,000 to 7,000 square feet).

Death by Natural Causes is available from late 2025.

Last month, Exhibits Development Group (EDG) announced that it has once again collaborated with Contemporanea Progetti, its creative partners in Florence, Italy. Together they will deliver a major international tour for the exhibition SAMURAI: Sunrise, Sunset, which explores Japan’s powerful military past through the centuries and includes exquisitely produced armour, weaponry, and personal items.
