Experiential Media Group (E/M Group), an industry leader in creating travelling exhibitions and experiences, and its affiliate RMS Titanic, Inc. (RMST), has announced that TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition will open in Brussels, Belgium, on 15 March.
The internationally acclaimed exhibition will go on show in the Tour & Taxis urban district, presented by Encore Productions.
Return to the Benelux region
The captivating story of the Titanic is presented through authentic stories from real people in the TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition. This attraction features full-scale room re-creations, immersive environments, and over 200 original artefacts which together transport visitors back to the ship’s maiden voyage in 1912.
Visitors can see genuine artefacts, such as a First Class Decanter, which was used by stewards to supply drinking water to first-class passengers, a Souvenir Postcard found in a passenger’s leather bag, and a pair of Men’s Suspenders, which belonged to a passenger in third-class. These artefacts were meticulously and respectfully salvaged from the wreck site, 12,000 feet below the North Atlantic.
Jessica Sanders, president of RMS Titanic, Inc., and CEO of E/M Group, says: “We are thrilled to partner with Encore Productions to bring the epic story of Titanic to the historic landmark of Tours & Taxis in Brussels. This is more than an exhibition, it’s an experience that allows guests to connect with the story of Titanic, her passengers and crews, through authentic artifacts and incredible settings.”
Gautam Chandna, director of business development, E/M Group, adds: “We’re bringing one of the most successful traveling exhibitions to the heart of Europe, Brussels. It’s been a decade since we last presented to the Benelux audiences. After a highly successful run in Paris, we are looking forward to presenting real objects and real stories.”
Earlier this month, Experiential Media Group (E/M Group) and its affiliate RMS Titanic, Inc. (RMST) announced that TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition will be showing for a six-month run at Ohio’s Center for Science and Industry (COSI) from 9 March 2024.
