FRANK Showcase Systems, creator of the patented FRANK display case for museums and exhibits, has announced that Julie Chesledon has joined its sales team at FRANK America.
Chesledon is from Seattle, Washington and will be working for the firm throughout the US and Canada.
20 years of experience in the museum sector
With two decades of experience in the museum industry, the firm’s new sales colleague will now present the FRANK systems to museums, archives, libraries, art galleries, and visitors centres, in order to meet the needs of their temporary, travelling and permanent exhibitions. Alongside Jonathan Evans, Chesledon will represent FRANK America and help potential customers with their showcase requirements.
In 2001, FRANK created the first truly demountable showcase, beginning with an acrylic version. With the FRANK Showcase System, there is no need for screws and seals because of the firm’s innovative plug-in technology.
The FRANK showcase system features unique slide-in technology. For dustproof and airtight storage and preservation, it doesn’t need screws or gaskets. Users can easily affix the discrete aluminium strips to the panel edges using the grooves that have been cut into them. These thin extrusions are flat with the surface when placed, and are no broader than the connecting junction of the two eight mm panels. They offer a precise fit connection with the strength of a permanent joint and the adaptability of a quick-release fixture, for simple disassembly.
FRANK believes that the focus should be on the object and not the display. This ethos characterises the unique design of the FRANK Showcase System. Frank Europe has become well-known in the world of museums very quickly, with a reputation for innovation, quality, and balanced cost-benefit ratios.
The company has delivered more than 500 projects in Europe as well as overseas, offering professional protection and presentation of artefacts.
