The Frick Collection in New York has appointed Joseph Shatoff as Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Shatoff, who is currently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will take up his post on 6 December.
His new role will involve overseeing the Frick’s expansion plans, the details of which are as yet unclear. A proposal for a six story extension was scrapped in 2015 following protests.
