Glenview Park District: RFP new naval air museum and flight academy

The Glenview Park District in Illinois has issued a Request for Proposals regarding a new Naval Air Station Glenview Museum and Flight Academy in Gallery Park.

Officials are seeking proposals for a feasibility study from design and engineering firms.

The study will be paid for by the Glenview Hangar One Foundation, which operates the existing museum, as well as Bring It Home, Glenview.

The district is looking to create a new 7,000-square-foot museum.

This would include a large display space, a flight simulator lab classroom and a meeting and shopping area near or behind Park Centre.

Deadline for proposals is July 10th 2017.
