Knowliom, a Riyad-based agency that brings informal learning experiences throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced that it has entered into a partnership with Zamil Trade and Services and Chargeurs Museum Studio in order to create Knowliom-CMS, a joint venture limited liability company in Saudi Arabia.
The goal of this new venture is to transform tourism and culture by offering full services that include advising, creative, and delivery solutions for museums, exhibits, and cultural assets
The joint venture was announced and a signing ceremony took place on June 19 2023 in Paris, France, during the French-Saudi Investment Forum. The chairpersons from each of the three firms, Nasser AlZamil, Riyadh AlZamil, and Michal Fribourg, were present at the forum, which was organised by His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Investment.
The forum featured high-level panel discussions and highlighted the growing private sector investment prospects in Saudi Arabia.
A significant collaboration
In one panel, Fribourg emphasised the Knowliom-CMS joint venture’s substantial economic development potential in promoting tourism and establishing Saudi Arabia as a centre of culture. Distinguished executives from the tourism and cultural sectors, including Fahad AlObailan, chief tourism officer of AlMosafer, a member of Seera Group, and Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of Diriyah Gate Development Authority, were also present, highlighting the significance of the collaboration.
Abdulaziz AlSulaim, CEO of the new entity, says:
“Knowliom-CMS stands at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s cultural renaissance. With immense honour, our dedicated team in Riyadh endeavors to support our clients in creating unforgettable cultural experiences for both residents and visitors throughout the Kingdom. We aim to provide an entire supply chain of services that will showcase the rich mosaic of Saudi Arabian traditions, catapulting the nation into a transformative era of enriching guest interactions.”
Knowliom-CMS will be a part of the internationally recognised Chargeurs Museum Studio group, the largest studio in the world devoted to full cultural services for museums, the arts, brands, real estate, and experience industries.
The Chargeurs Museum Studio group expands its worldwide footprint thanks to this integration, which also enables it to combine local and regional expertise inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The collaboration with Knowliom-CMS will be crucial in promoting the growth of cultural experiences within institutions, museums, and visitor experiences across the nation.
The growing culture and heritage sector in KSA
“We envisage a future where Saudi Arabia emerges as a prominent global hub for culture and attractions, enchanting visitors, fostering talent, and igniting sustainable growth. With the collaborative efforts of Knowliom-CMS, we are pooling resources to create immersive experiences that exalt the distinctive heritage, traditions, and narratives of Saudi Arabia, captivating audiences from every corner of the world,” says Delphine de Canecaude, CEO of Chargeurs Museum Studio.
The launch of Knowliom-CMS demonstrates the dedication of Zamil Trade and Services, Knowliom, and Chargeurs Museum Studio to support the development and ongoing preservation of Saudi Arabia’s cultural assets. The joint venture is an important step in improving Saudi Arabia’s reputation internationally in the museum and cultural asset sectors, promoting cross-cultural dialogue, and producing immersive experiences that appeal to people all over the world.
Last year, AlSulaim spoke to blooloop about the creation of the Qassim Science Centre, a new state-of-the-art venue in Saudi Arabia, managed by Knowliom.
