The Liberty Science Center has plans to develop SciTech Scity - an academic complex, hotel and residential development on 16 acres of undeveloped city land.
Several years ago there was a proposal for a Liberty Hotel and Conference Center which floundered. Now much more ambitious project looks likely to go ahead.
Architecture firm Concrete has provided the the design, and, subject to approval, work is set to start in 2018.
