Aldar launching world’s first Louvre residences in Abu Dhabi

Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will offer unique views, designs, spaces, amenities and services within Saadiyat Grove.

Aldar Properties and Louvre Abu Dhabi have announced a partnership to launch the world’s first Louvre residences, with 400 apartments in Saadiyat Grove offering views of the Arabian Gulf.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will boast unique views, designs, spaces, amenities and services within Saadiyat Grove, Aldar’s immersive destination on Saadiyat Island. Saadiyat Grove will feature retail, entertainment and leisure spaces.

“Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences at Saadiyat Grove is our response to the demand for a premium residence that echoes the values, quality, and timelessness of the cultural powerhouse that is Abu Dhabi,” said Jonathan Emery, Aldar Development CEO.

“Neighbouring Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences represents the pinnacle of art, culture, and design, tailored and delivered for the ever-discerning homeowner.”

Louvre residences on Saadiyat Island

The Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will include a lounge, private cinema and wellness centre, as well as swimming pools and gardens. Shared spaces will feature art and sculptures selected in consultation with the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Additionally, residents will enjoy exclusive membership that provides access to Louvre Abu Dhabi’s exhibitions and events, merchandise and personalised art consultation and services.

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism previously announced plans to develop two new museums on Saadiyat Island, in addition to the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum.

Meanwhile, Disney has announced plans to build residential communities across the US, which are being designed by Disney Imagineers and property developers. The first ‘Storyliving by Disney’ community will rise in Rancho Mirage, California.
