Pimentel & Partners, a creative consultancy specialising in the design of brand experiences, museums, and visitor attractions, is reflecting on some of the work that it has completed for a variety of clients this year, as well as looking ahead to a number of interesting projects to come.
Firstly, it has delivered a new IP-based concept for an award-winning animation studio. This project extended its client’s new studio space into a visitor experience that inspires guests to unleash their creative potential and immerses them in the studio’s unique storytelling style. Themed retail, leisure and food areas complete the offer.
On a recent trip to northern Spain, Pimentel & Partners also visited a major producer of Rioja, taking in two architecturally compelling production cellars. Here, the team is excited and inspired to be imagining the possibilities for experiences within.
Design development, creative consultancy and more
In addition to this, the company is providing creative consultancy services to the world’s second-largest tech company. Brand storytelling in this client’s workplaces is critical to its culture and Pimentel & Partners is supporting the process of developing and delivering a multitude of experiences for guests and employees across a large estate.
Over in Saudi Arabia, an ongoing project is now moving into detailed design development. The company is also designing the brand and graphic design alongside an innovative and sustainable exhibition solution.
During 2022, Pimentel & Partners also developed an archive gallery concept for a governmental authority in the UAE who have a large collection of historically significant documents. The firm is now looking forward to developing the concept.
Another project that the company is working on is the development of an innovative technology-driven concept for a sport-based immersive experience. For the curious as well as die-hard fans the experience will be data-driven and put the guest right at the heart of the adrenalin-fuelled sport. Touring globally, the concept aims to reach many millions of this global sport’s fans and inspire an increased interest and greater uptake at the grassroots level.
Passion and performance drive company’s growth
Pimentel & Partners, also says that it has been privileged to be invited to join a number of multi-disciplinary teams on a wide variety of tenders for museums, visitor attractions and Expo pavilions. As its work streams develop, the team grows with it, boosting the company’s capabilities and its network of creative and delivery partners in the industry.
“It’s been great to work with some of the most talented and trusted players in the business,” says Paulo Pimentel, founder.
“The geographical spread of our projects also means that we will be aiming to open up new creative opportunities in Europe and the Middle East. We’re aiming to have an on-the-ground presence in the Middle East in Q2 of 2023.
“We’re delighted to be finishing 2022 on a really strong footing with multiple projects completed or in progress. Our passion for exemplary creativity and innovation in the sector continues to drive us. Whilst our clients and project types are diverse, we are consistently delivering on our ambitions to create high-quality experiences that tell compelling stories, leverage the potential of latent built assets to drive untapped revenue streams and are delivered sustainably and ethically.
“Passion and performance are our watchwords and they continue to feed our purpose and drive us forward. Telling memorable stories in compelling and innovative ways coupled with excellence in problem-solving means we can deliver world-class creative concepts that deliver commercially too. 2023 will be a defining year in our development in the experiential industry and we can’t wait!”
Paulo Pimentel brings over two decades of experience in brand experience and visitor design to this growing new venture. Earlier this year, we spoke to him about how the company uses engaging design and compelling content to bring stories to life, working with a range of clients in the attractions sector, from museums to brand homes.
