Vennersys, the integrated ticketing, retail and visitor management company, has provided ticketing and EPOS solutions to the historic Hall Place and Gardens.

Vennersys has now implemented VenposCloud, its integrated ticketing and EPOS system, at the Tudor-era Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley. This has allowed the attraction, which is one of the best-kept secrets in the region, to bring its ticketing, membership, event management, reporting, retail, and hospitality into one easy to use platform.

The historic house welcomes guests throughout the year, who come to enjoy its rich history as well as a range of events and exhibitions. They can also learn more about the Tudor period by visiting the family-friendly Tudor Discovery Gallery.

In addition to this, the Grade I listed country house, which dates back to 1537, is a popular wedding venue. As well as the beautiful gardens, guests can explore the Butterfly House and Plant Centre, and take part in a Jamb Owls experience.

Increasing efficiency

To handle all of these elements, the venue required a software solution that can work across several different offerings, helping it to increase business efficiency. This is why by Bexley London Borough Council chose VenposCloud, which can support a range of tickets and transactions.

Vennersys’ EPOS systems are able to quickly process admissions, memberships, retail and catering transactions and group bookings, which means that guests do not have to wait in queues for long periods and allows the attraction to operate more efficiently.

In addition to this, the company’s Venpos Event Management module allows the venue to produce and manage different events, from open-air cinema evenings to bat walks. Through this system, events are managed automatically for a simpler and more streamlined solution.

Finally, VenposCloud also helps Hall Place to manage its membership scheme, allowing for members to pay by monthly by Direct Debit and to receive timed communications. The operator can also use the database to track member purchases and gather information on retention and new members.

Lisa Bentham, Operations Associate Director at Vennersys, says; “We’re ecstatic to be working with one of the most beautiful and vibrant Historic Houses in the UK. Hall Place and Gardens provides their visitors with a wide range of exciting experiences. We have worked in conjunction with them to provide an integrated system which works well with all of the offerings.

“Our system will also provide them with valuable data insights which can improve the business and visitor experience. We wanted to provide a system, which was tailored to this venue’s specific needs, so we provided a bespoke financial integration into the council’s payment gateway. We are confident that our solution will lead to improved efficiency and higher revenues for Hall Place and Gardens.”

This partnership with Bexley London Borough Council is the latest Vennersys success story with councils around the UK. The company has also worked with Edinburgh county council at its 6 site rollout.

Last year, Vennersys announced the launch of its revamped website, featuring a new design and a user-friendly experience.
