Fortnite is coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The new scare zone is inspired by Fortnite's signature Halloween event, 'Fortnitemares', which features new characters and horror-themed gameplay.
The immersive experience will offer "ever-evolving and high-stakes environments" and "puts a twisted spin on the global video game phenomenon", Universal said.
Guests will enter a Halloween-inspired living battleground called Freaky Fields, which is "overcome with a threatening force".
Throughout the scare zone, fans will encounter the Battle Bus and meet familiar Fortnitemares characters, plus some new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights.
New merchandise based on the Fortnitemares scare zone, including a graphic tee, decal set and acrylic collectible, is on sale now at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood, and on ShopUniversal.com.
'Fortnitemares' at Halloween Horror Nights
Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights at Universal Orlando from 28 August through 1 November, and at Universal Studios Hollywood from 3 September through 1 November.
Also confirmed for this year's event are haunted houses inspired by the new Evil Dead Burn film, 1987 film Hellraiser, the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, and award-winning film Sinners.

In the Evil Dead Burn experience, guests will "dodge possessed Deadites hell-bent on bloodshed" after the Book of the Dead has been reopened.
The haunted house based on Clive Barker's 1987 film Hellraiser features scenes and characters from the original film as well as the next two instalments in the original trilogy.
The Stranger Things experience will showcase the most gripping moments from the final season, and in the Sinners haunted house, guests will be taken back in time to Club Juke.
