teamLab has announced plans for its largest museum to date, located in Tokyo's Ariake district adjacent to Odaiba.
The attraction, which is tentatively named teamLab Tokyo, is scheduled to open in 2032.
It will cover an area of approximately 33,000 square metres, making it larger than any other teamLab destination in the world.
In addition to digital art installations, teamLab Tokyo will feature "a continuous expanse of open spaces" with greenery and a café, according to a press release.

Tokyo is already home to two teamLab attractions – teamLab Borderless in Azabudai and teamLab Planets Tokyo in Toyosu.
Via a press release, teamLab Borderless and teamLab Planets Tokyo attracted a combined total of 4.2 million visitors in 2025.
teamLab is a global group of artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, architects and mathematicians, founded by Toshiyuki Inoko.
Speaking about teamLab Borderless, Takashi Kudo, teamLab’s communication director, told blooloop: “There is no border between the art. There are no boundaries between the artworks and visitors. The visitors’ existence is one with the artworks."
As for teamLab Planets, this features four large-scale exhibitions where the artworks react to visitors, as well as gardens with 13,000 live orchids and a continually changing, glowing moss garden.
teamLab also has permanent exhibitions in Kyoto (teamLab Biovortex), the UAE (teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (teamLab Borderless Jeddah), and Macao (teamLab SuperNature).
In addition, a new teamLab Borderless exhibition is being developed for Hamburg, Germany as part of the upcoming UBS Digital Art Museum.
