350 climbing activity venues now operating worldwide as figures continue to climb

Clip ‘n Climb, an international leader in the fun climbing market, is celebrating a landmark achievement which displays the continued growth of the company.

The firm’s 350 centres comprise over 5,000 challenges, found in a variety of facility types such as amusement parks, climbing gyms, leisure centres, retail complexes and trampoline venues, as well as standalone facilities.

A company representative says: “We know there is a climber inside all of us… in fact, We believe everyone can!

“Here at Clip ’n Climb we work together to bring these aspirations to life, and we all play a part in taking our exciting brand to new heights. There are so many opportunities for [business owners] to run a fun and strong business.

“We are an international family, supporting and connecting with one another via our intranet portal.”

Recent openings

Clip ‘n Climb zones are now installed in 52 countries, with 18 new openings during 2021. The UK alone now has 82 centres, with 3 franchisees. Clip ‘n Climb’s popularity continues to grow with more than 10 million guests participating in the active experience to date.

Clip ‘n Climb continues with its wide international appeal, as shown through its latest openings post-pandemic. The most recent is at Dix31 in Toulouse, France. This is a leisure centre featuring 12 challenges which last week. Across the channel, the UK’s Clip ‘n Climb Thanet opened in March, being the third CNC franchise to open in under a year.

Sweden’s Jumpyard Orebro opened in February 2022, with eight installed challenges. On the other side of the world, Clip ‘n Climb Lower Hutt can be found in Wellington, New Zealand. The venue is one of the brand’s largest centres, with 24 challenges on site.

The company concludes: “We wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all the newcomers and to thank all of the owners and operators for their hard work and dedication to making fun climbing accessible to everyone.”

Clip ‘n Climb will be attending SEA Expo 16-18th May 2022 in Saudi Arabia, with their sister company Fun Spot and partner Intelligent Entertainment at stand #3F71.

Last year Clip ‘n Climb exhibited at a number of international trade shows including LeisurUp by MAPIC in Cannes, France and IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona, Spain.
