Intercard, the cashless payment provider, has announced that it has teamed up with party expert Dorothy Lewis in order to boost its customers’ event business.

Dorothy LewisIntercard is pleased to announce the new partnership with Dorothy Lewis, which will enable its customers to maximise the benefits of its Shindigger Party Planning and Reservation Platform. Lewis is a party expert with over 25 years of experience in the industry and has been working closely with Intercard to develop the new party planning and reservation software.

Lewis has a strong track record in the amusement industry, beginning by working with Al Kress, co-founder of Benchmark Games, and then moving on to Fun Station Associates. She served as VP of marketing at Fun Station for 20 years, where she expanded the company’s overall business by up to 25% at some locations while overseeing decades of events.

Consulting services and support

Customers can use Shindigger with or without an Intercard cashless technology system. Lewis will be on hand to provide installation and product support, as well as party and event consulting services at a discount to Shindigger customers.

“Shindigger is priced to beat competing systems, and subscribers will also get a party business pro as a valuable additional resource,” says Lewis. “There’s so much that Shindigger can do beyond just booking reservations. I will help operators get up to speed and use it to the fullest.”

Lewis is a specialist in the events field and has helped many FECs around the country to develop their party business. She has also co-authored a training guide with Sheryl Bindelglass, entitled The FUNdamentals of the Party Business.

IAAPA experience

Lewis is also active with respected groups in the industry. She served on IAAPA’s FEC committee for five years and received a Meritorious Service Award from IAAPA in 2016. Most recently, she was the president of the New England Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, where she served as a board member for over 12 years.

“Dorothy Lewis played an important role in making Shindigger a special addition to the Intercard cashless technology platform,” says Scott Sherrod, CEO of Intercard. “We urge all operators to try it and see how much it can do. They can also save money because it’s priced much more attractively than competing party software.”

Customers can book a phone consultation with Dorothy Lewis by emailing the Intercard sales team.

Intercard is celebrating a successful month of visits to global trade shows, having had a presence at IAAPA Expo Europe as well as the Thailand Amusement & Attraction Parks Expo (TAAPE) and the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) Trade Show.
